Day one 14th March 2009Fixed back door locks, tried to get second set of seats out. Needs grinding out. Found swimming pool under mats at front of cab looked worse than it was. Mats now in bin. Removed wooden panels found hidden treasure(rubbish dump) Tried knocking out the dents that blasted woodpecker made in the side. decided to fill and sand. Fixed back lights needed fixing due to strut breaking cables. Well the living bit is nearly done Toilet, sink, cooker plumbed in. Lights wired up, walls filled and covered in carpet. Still got laminate and tiles in bathroom to put down. Then its the cab to do then the outside.
Well after chopping the end of my thumb off on a bench saw I finally got busy on the van again Its been to wales, anglsey, skeggy, scarborough, bridlington and a few other places. only problem I have had upto now was a fan belt which was a easy fix. Some arsehole knocked my mirror of today though. Inside is almost done. Beware do not use spray glue if using carpet on walls as its crap. hot weather and vibration brought them all down. Now used industrial glue and roof struts just to be sure. Bought a hot water heat that works from the engine to be fitted. Then its time to start on the outside
